Established in 1970, Netherthong Pre-School and Out of School Club is a charity that is managed by a committee of parent and non-parent trustees to provide childcare for ages 2-7. Registered Charity Number 1174100.
Our aim is to provide a happy, safe and welcoming environment where children learn through the provision of stimulating activities and inspiring resources on their individual journey of discovery.
All sessions offer your child the opportunity to participate in free play, a structured activity, outdoor play (weather permitting), story, song, and snack time. Your child will learn through play using the activities provided, these include sand, water, dough, painting, gluing, books, home corner, and jigsaws.
They'll also learn how to make relationships with other children and adults and to develop their co-ordination & communication skills.
Ofsted - October 2022Children enter the setting confident, eager and ready to learn. They have high levels of independence and quickly settle into the familiar routines. Staff know the children well and have a good grasp of how best to support them and build on their knowledge and skills.
To help achieve these objectives we offer your child:

Staff recognise the importance of allowing children time to practise and hone their skills and apply their learning in different ways. This helps to ensure knowledge is embedded and allows children to grow in confidence.
